I found myself trekking through the dunes in the middle of 33MPH winds. It was early in the morning when the winds were less violent, but when the sunrise hit the winds took a drastic change for the worse.

We started to climb up to this point at 7am. It took us 3 hours of very steep incline to get here but it was well worth it. Check out that view!

Sahara hike is ok if the temperature is below 40° so in the morning hiking is ok but to take this picture we need to clime on a big dune, it is not so much fun anymore as 1 step up mean also 1/2 step down, but the view makes up for it
