On the fourth and final day of Chhath, known as Paran or Bhorwa Arghya, devotees complete their observance by offering prayers to the rising sun. Early in the morning, families gather along rivers, ponds, or other water bodies to make this final offering. The atmosphere is filled with devotion as they present offerings in soop baskets filled with fruits, rice, and thekua, and recite traditional prayers. This sunrise worship is the culmination of the four-day Chhath Puja, marking the end of a devoted fasting period as they break their fast after this ritual, celebrating strength, faith.
