On our trip through the Philippines we were invited into a local home, up in the mountains of Mabalacat. There we were treated to a traditional meal where you only eat with your hand. As I sat down and grabbed my first handful of rice one of the locals through the translator asks, “is this the first time he’s eating with his hands?” Why yes, yes it is. Don’t judge!
