Mother’s day 2015. My family and I were taking a hike in the beautiful Olympic National Park in the upper Pacific Northwest of Washington state when we stopped for a brief rest. Taking in the surroundings I found this flower amongst a sea of green plants. The photo captures the essence of Mother’s Day, amongst a sea of similarity and mundane our mother’s are beautiful blossoms that nurture our own inner growth.
