“The whole world is watching and no-one is saying anything.” Despite being only a few hundred strong, this rally had the kind of intensity that, at the time, felt impossible for the world to ignore. Colour from flares and smoke bombs added to the atmosphere as Kurds from across London cried out not just against Turkey but against all countries complicit in the ongoing invasion of Syria - not least the UK.
