On a summer night ..

June nights are short .. Before it gets dark, soon it will be dawn. But after midnight the sky turns green with an atmospheric glow - the own glow of the earth's atmosphere. The phenomenon is from photoluminescence. However, we can observe it only in summer and only when the sky is clear and without haze. On one of these nights, immediately after the summer solstice, we were lucky to capture the atmospheric glow in one of the wildlife sanctuaries of the Poltava region, over the Psel River!
