After much effort, I finally managed to get a photo of this butterfly sipping nectar from a pink ixora flower.

While volunteering in the Amazon rainforest we took care of these beautiful Scarlet Macaws. 
Every day they would spend hours grooming each other affectionately. Macaws remain with one partner throughout their entire lives.
