The iconic H.K. Convention and Exhibition Center at the Wanchai harbor front designed by local renowned architect Mr Rocco Yim. It is also a historical site as it was the venue where the takeover ceremony was held in 1997 as H.K. was returned from British colonial rule to China's rule. The flag raising ceremony is held outside the Convention and Exhibition Centre on 1st July and 1st October. The architectural design resembles a turtle reaching out to the sea, which has good meaning,while the sides of the rooftop resemble the wings of a bird flying.
