Sunrise at Portland Bill in October this year… the sunrise to the east had no cloud and not much colour, but then I looked behind me and saw these beautiful purple and pink tones, and instantly ran to the other side of Portland to capture this image

Summertime on The Jurassic Coast at Durdle Door Dorset. Blue sky and blue sea. One of the most beautiful places to visit. This photo makes me feel happy and relaxed and marvel at Natures beauty. Durdle Door itself fascinating.

A wonderful sunrise one morning at Durdle Door in Dorset. That time of year the sun rises to the left of the Door, whichh creates a wonderful opportunity for getting the light just hitting the top of the rock as it does here. A wonderful place, and even better at 6 am with no crowds!!

The iconic Gold Hill, Shaftesbury, made famous in 1973, when Hovis filmed an advert for their bread.  It was voted the U.K.’s favourite advert.  It was filmed by Ridley Scott and the soundtrack to the advert was Dvorak’s New World Symphony.

Storm Diana has been producing some big waves off the south coast recently. And last weekend was no different. Huge 6 foot plus waves were rolling in and battering the Portland coast. It made for great fun!

This was exactly the shot I wanted - capturing the power of the waves with a 0.6s exposure just after a big wave had hit the coast with the lighthouse being bathed in beautiful morning golden light
