I was staying at a friend’s rural property for a few days and made the decision to go out at sunrise the next morning and head up the nearby mountain. It was the middle of winter and literally freezing, I didn’t have any gloves so when I wasn’t taking photos I had to stuff my hands deep in my pockets to stay warm. But the further and further I drove up the winding mountain road this incredible mist got thicker and thicker. There was no-one else around save a few kangaroos. It was incredibly cinematic.

There is a huge psychiatric ward in the north of Prague, Czech Republic. On the outskirts of this vast area there are houses for ordinary people, one of them being this house where one of my friends was born and raised.
