She was my first canine love. She has taught me things that have been difficult for me to learn from other people, she has inspired me to forget and move on, she has accompanied me, even in the bathroom, but she has also waited patiently for me for years.

Today she works helping me explore and prepare locations for photoshoots, participating in the creative process, and making my days better just by always being there.

Whenever I get up in the morning, Ruby likes to steal my spot in bed. In this photo, it was still a bit chilly when I popped in the shower. She snuggled up into my spot, with teddy and all. Enjoy!
