Common Redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus) this summer in France 

An Eurasian Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) in my garden, during the first cold days of the winter.

A couple of white-throated dippers  shot in Pyrénées during summer 2019. White-throated dippers have the incredible ability of walking below the river stream, on the floor.

Machaon caterpillar
Machaon butterfly in caterpillar form. Quite big, very colourful , it
feeds on the carrot planes (but not too much so it's okay:) ). Hope I
will have the chance to see the chrysalis and a beautiful butterfly !


Salt spider on the lookout

This spider is a "jumping spider" that profits from their excellent vision to hunt. Thanks to the arrangement of their 8 eyes that they can be easily recognized. Here, we can see the 4 front eyes. There are also 1 pair of eyes on the sides, and a pair a little further back.
