An evening detail of Tomas Bata Memorial (Památník Tomáše Bati) in Zlin, Czech Republic, was built in 1933 to pay tribute to the founder of the Bata shoemaking concern. A functionalist building made of concrete, glass, and steel, designed by architect František Lýdie Gahura.
