Surrounded by epic mountains, the freezing water was a refreshing experience.

We had to cross the glacial river from Brenndalsbreen, luckily this bridge was our savior!

We walked down from the glacier to find the valley filled with low clouds. It was extremely atmospheric and gave a sense of depth to the landscape. This little hut sat perfectly on the edge of the mountain, with some waterfalls peeking through in the distance.

After a cloudy day with plenty of rain, the sun dropped below the clouds and lit up the sky in an awesome orange vibrancy.

Just before the sun came up we got out of our tents at 6AM for an unreal sunrise. We couldn’t believe our eyes as the sky lit up. Naturally we climbed to the highest peak in Quiraing for the best sunrise location - it was epic.

Steep valley sides and moody clouds made this paddle an overwhelming experience. Gudvangen is one of the most beautiful places in Norway!
