When my sister comes to visit me, I love to take photos of her. She is beautiful inside and out.

Every year I take a trip to Lone Pine. Our first mini climb to get accustomed to the altitude is the Portal hike along the river stream. 

I was on the big island for vacation. The volcanic eruptions have closed the national park off to visitors, however the lava can be seen in the reflection of the clouds.

Blossoms in the spring also means allergies.

I visited my friend in Ashland, and all the almond trees were blooming with these beautiful pink blossoms.

My sister and I visited my favorite nursery in the Bay Area. You can feel the care they put in to their plants.

Walking through the streets of Berkeley, I found this quaint pink laundry store that gave me all the retro vibes.

This was my first time in Lone Pine. My boyfriend’s family have been climbing Mount Whitney for years and they took my up to the lake for my first hike. It’s amazing what kind of beauty is hiding in the seemingly vast and empty expanse of the rocky deserts. The air is so much cleaner, the smell of pine and fresh water is so refreshing. You leave the place feeling new.

Out in Yucca Valley, by Joshua Tree is one of my favorite outdoor art installations by Noah Purifoy. You get to wander around a pretty desolate area and explore this surreal and eerie site.

This is one of my favorite plant nurseries in the Bay Area. It’s simple, sweet, and perfect. I love the cat that roams the place, the plants that are cared so much for, and the people coming in and out.
