Walking along the Tiber I found this boat at the othe side, and I found everything to be so grey. The water was grey, the wall was grey and the sky was grey. So in my mind I took a black&white photo of the boat…Getting there with the camera was another thing, but a longer exposure time gave me the effect I wanted.

As I walked the streets of Rome I came to the bridge to the Castel Sant’Angelo, it bustled with activity even late in in the afternoon. I stood there thinking what a masterpiece this is and how to capture it without making the people the main focus points.
I found a good spot to set the camera and played with long exposure times until i was happy with the image.

Ponte Vittoria Emanuelle II in it’s nightlighting is a beautiful bridge crossing the Tiber in Rome.
I saw the bridge with St. Peter’s church in the background and just wanted to freeze the moment in time. The only way to capture the beaty it deserved was by taking an HDR image.
