Clarity from above leads to clarity everywhere. When we split Unsplash into its own company a few months ago, we knew we’d be creating more opportunity. But we also knew that more doesn’t mean better. Even though we have the focus of a larger team (and bank account), there is such a thing as having too many resources. You can easily become unfocused by opportunity.

Taking action is important to make change happen. But understanding why you should act is crucial. Actions are obvious once you have a clear view from above.
