I could spend hours gazing at this peak, memorizing it’s nooks and crevices. This is my favorite  mountain in Alaska.

This is a river at the end of the Trail of Giants in the Redwoods National Park. Frogs are everywhere in this river; no matter where you look, you see a froggo.

I took this photograph while in an airplane leaving the amazing state of Alaska. I was glad that I had a window seat or I would have been leaning over whoever was next to me.

This was the entrance sign to a campsite near the Redwoods in Northern California. It was way off the beaten path which is what I loved about it.

This big horn sheep caught my eye while I was exploring Badlands National Park. I ran over to take his picture and when I leaned down, I kneeled right into a cactus. So it took blood and tears to get this photograph. You’re welcome.

Badlands National Park was one of the last national parks we visited on our trek across the country. At this entrance sign, the only thing you can see for miles are the rolling planes of South Dakota. So we did not know what to expect from this park but it surpassed all of our expectations. I love how this image captures the isolation of the park.
