Another lucky one. I had spent the morning taking photos of the moon against the pink sunrise when I saw the plane approaching from the right. In a panic I switched to shutter mode and autofocus and nudged the camera a little as I tried to take the shot. It’s a little soft, and I have only seen this alignment once since.

This was taken one morning as part of a distance test flight. I wanted to see how far I could push the drone out into San Francisco Bay and the weather conditions were perfect. There was no wind, and zero signal interference and this shot was 2.8km into the bay. It wasn’t until I got home and started to edit that I saw the ship was called Golden Energy. It seemed more than perfect with the sunrise lurking on the horizon.

This was a lucky find, I was running between destinations on a work trip and spotted the puddle. Everyone else was stood on the corner, looking up and taking shots of the building. I waited for the ripples to settle after people had crossed the road and got snapping.
