the grand cavern is not far off a main road, but the path is full of deep sand. The climb up through deep sand to this spot from the parking area is definitely a workout as well. This view is worth every step. It's really cool.

This photo was taken on a very cold night in northern Arizona. The cold allowed the lake to be extremely calm and mirror the star movement.

Standing next to me was about 30 people all trying to take this same image. There are spots where it's not worth the crowds, this is definitely not one of them. Get there early and watch the bottom of the arch light up from the reflection of light off the canyon wall. It's just incredible.

If you want to see big horn sheep, I highly recommend going out to lookout point in Glacier. I've seen them and mountain goats every time I've been out there.

I was here to take a photo with the sunrise just over the lighthouse. It was too cloudy. I can't say I was mad about it. It's beautiful every time I stop by here.

Knarraville falls before they put in the safe stairway. It's a heck of a lot safer today, but not nearly as beautiful.

It's pretty hard to see this place without a lot of people. Sunrise is one time you can make it and have a few minutes alone out here.

This place is magical. Not easy to get to, but worth the effort.
