We were watching the beautiful sunset in Pai, Northern Thailand when I spotted an interesting patch of grass crawling up the side of a hill. I love putting things in-front of my lens to capture depth and intended to have a bit of grass as foreground to my landscape mountain sunset shot. However, the dreamy soft look from this gorgeous lighting and depth made me fall in love with this shot.

You can find beautiful photography in the most surprising of places if you look hard enough… I love abstract work, especially with lighting. You can see how the LEDs softly fall out of focus, just like a waterfall. Want to know what this really is? Believe it or not, it’s actually the backlight of a BMW 118i.
