I met this girl my sophomore year of college and she has blessed me with her creativity and wild heart more than she could ever imagine. Don’t take your friends for granted.

I was on my way to Walmart and noticed that it had just stopped raining and my immediate thought was to drive up to the mountains. I had forgotten my camera, so I quickly drove back to my home, grabbed my camera, and drove up to see this stunning view. 5 minutes after I took this photo, a huge cloud came and engulfed me, and the whole mountain I was on. I felt the most peace and serenity I had felt in an extremely long time and this photo brings me back to that moment.

This was my dog, Kiera. She was always down for adventure and never let me slow down. I love this photo because it’s from a very special place and she makes it a lot more special.
