For my first time photographing a Say's Phoebe I could not have asked for a better opportunity. This bird was so friendly and had a tight territory that made it quite easy to photograph it in a variety of conditions and perches as it hunted for insects. As always a huge thanks to Jamin Taylor for showing me this amazing bird and I'm pretty sure he found this wonderful area to photograph the bird as well. The light was just right for this closer portrait and the textures of the moss and lichens are always a joy to add to a photo of a bird to me.
