Every year, my wife and I would buy 1 special ornament for our Christmas tree. This year, we traveled to Scotland and did an amazing road trip there. We passed by a Christmas shop during the trip, and found this adorable ornament. It was the best representation of this incredible memory we had together for the year.

Taken off the cliff near the little but calm fishing village of Manarola. Seeing these strong tidal waves playing music to the rocks is a big contrast to the quiet village life just above. It is evident that Manarola is well protected by the rocks and the villagers are undisturbed by these waves.

The strong Mediterranean sea along the La Spezia coast gushes onto the rock formations. I climbed my way around the rocky terrain trying to capture the real movements of the waves as my wife tries to warn me of the danger. A difficult shot but a well worthy one that tells the story of how the waves ends their life.

Drove around and chasing after the morning sun across the beautiful Tuscan landscapes. Greeted by peaceful villages and rows of cyprus trees, the sunlight of Tuscany never fails to amaze me.
