Apache Longbow helicopter on a training sortie

Night shoot at RAF Odiham gave me the opportunity to capture the stalwart workhouse that is the Boeing Chinook in its natural surroundings.  It was superb photographing whilst the distinctive ‘wokka’ sound generated from the rotors.

F15 powers through the low fly structure in the hills of North Wales with the snowy backdrop making for stunning photo opportunities.  Capturing images of these powerful aircraft at 500 feet and 500 knots fills me with a feeling of accomplishment
