I took this photograph of a group of ladies at a photo walk in NYC. It perfectly exemplified the unity that took place among photographers, models and creatives alike.

This is Devan, photographed at Afropunk Fest, basking in the middle of the crowd at the main music stage.

It was a snowy day during New York Fashion Week, but that didn’t stop the flow. This is a street style shot captured as guests transitioned between fashion shows.

In between shooting the AMCONYC fashion show during New York Fashion Week, I slipped over to the official fashion shows with a fellow photog to catch some street style. Swarms of photographers were out there, and the streets were pretty gushy from the snow, but that did not stop the streets from having their own fashion show.

I ran into a concert in NYC’s Union Square and couldn’t help but snap a photo of this little boy who seemed to be having his own little concert in the middle of the crowd. His stage: mommy’s shoulders.

I was leading the National Black Female Photographers Day photo walk in NYC, and we came upon a car that we couldn’t resist stopping at — and it was the perfect backdrop for Sabine. With their matching tans, we had her lean on the car and ‘do her thing.’ This photo truly exemplifies the joy that the day brought.
