The sculpture "A Farewell to Arms!" is located in the park near the Palace of Children's (Youth) Art (formerly the Palace of Pioneers) at the intersection of Kirov and Militsionnaya Streets. Opening Date: September 3, 2015 (the opening coincided with the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism). Meaning: The sculpture is dedicated to the memory of victims of terrorism worldwide. On June 12, 2018, the retaining wall of the Izhevsk Pond embankment (the area under the esplanade) became the main venue for professional writers as part of the "Izhevsk – Capital of the World" project (part of the "Draw Izhevsk!" festival). Full details of the embankment event: Purpose and scale: Concrete slabs of the retaining wall, several dozen meters long, were transformed into a single art canvas. Each invited artist or team was assigned a separate section (slab).

On July 3, 2018, a fire broke out in the tower of the Main Building of the Izhevsk Arms Factory (a cultural heritage site), resulting in the collapse of the historic spire. The fire, which covered 10-15 square meters, occurred on the upper floors. There were no injuries, but the 19th-century architectural landmark was damaged. The spire of the tower of the Main Building of the Izhevsk Arms Factory (the Triumphal Column) was officially restored and reinstalled on May 28, 2024.
