Winter Photography

As I was running along fulfilling my dream of going across the Brooklyn Bridge and getting different views of that amazing wonder, I looked up as I approached the Manhattan Bridge and loved this view. Immediately stopped running, took a few steps back and snapped this photo! Always be on the lookout for the unexpected delight.

These are my favorite pictures that I've taken. I am always amazed at how an image can trigger a flood of memories. These images cause a cascade of remembrances and delight in their composition.

My Favorite Pictures

I had not idea that Zion National Park has many tunnels. While exploring one day we found three. This one was one of my favorites because it is cut out of the rock and is so interestingly situated that we didn't know it was there until we were standing at its mouth.

Finding tunnels in cities and in nature, looking for that light at the end of the tunnel.

Always a fun view to see massive cliffs, deep canyons, and views to the horizon! Canyonlands National Park on a good clear day never disappoints.

Grand landscapes are always fun to observe, but so too are the small wonders of nature. These little sandstone nodules were no larger than an eraser on a pencil, but they created such a fascinating aspect of his outcropping of stone that I had to capture their beauty.
